Avani Dave is a Research Intern at General Electric Global Research Center Niskayuna, NY, USA and a Ph.D. student at UMBC. Her research involves hardware security in embedded and IoT devices, developing attack resilient, dependable, secure, and trustworthy computing through the cooperation of specification, synthesis, architecture and validation technologies. Prior to her Ph.D. studies, Avani has worked in industry as software engineer and academia. She is interested in implementing light-weight attestation and authentication with platform root of trust with TPM2.0, OPTEE, and supply chain attestation with HIRS-like implementation.
